His Goodness and Severity
Romans 11:22
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
In August of 2004 the Lord spoke to me about a shaking of His people along with the entire world. Yes, the shaking is for us, His church as well dear one. The Lord in His great love and redemption will shake His church along with the entire world. The Lord spoke this to me, "Do not inquire of men as to what the future of My church looks like!" The Lord said, "I am creating My church on earth after My HEAVENLY MODEL, NOT AFTER MEN'S MODELS!
The Lord continued to speak, I am creating My church on earth with the same DNA of My Holy Temple in Heaven. In this way the transfer of Heavenly things to My church on earth will be done with ease. I will not transfer heavenly things into men's models. THE LORD IS ABOUT TO SHAKE MEN'S MODELS (TRADITIONS) AND RELEASE SOMETHING NEW! IT IS A HEAVENLY APOSTOLIC BLUEPRINT!
Back to the word in August of 2004; at about 3AM one morning the Lord spoke a word to me which shook me. I must admit that it struck my heart with the awe and fear of the Lord. I shared some of the word in the Prophetic Bulletin on the front page of this website.
Some have said, well we are in a dispensation of grace and God will not judge and shake His church like that.
1 Peter 4:17
For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
The word time in this verse is the Greek word kiros which means a now time. The word judgement in the Greek means to allow Holy Spirit to search our hearts in the forensic sense, to examine closely and transparently. It is a place where the CROSS of Jesus is applied to our life! Let me clarify this by saying that God's purpose is always redemptive. He knows what is needed to bring His church to maturity. He is not angry with His people, He loves us passionately! But our Lord's love toward us at times compels His correction:
Hebrews 12:5,6
And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:
"My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD,
Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
For whom the LORD loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives."
The Lord spoke that I was to ready myself, shake myself off, as He is bringing a powerful shaking to His church. He told me clearly that He is shaking the church to prepare for the harvest! But please understand that dicipline is not punishment. It is actually God's way of advancing you into His Kingdom.
Hebrews 12:25
25 See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven,
26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven."
27 Now this, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made (TRADITIONS OF MEN INCLUDED!), that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.
The wonder of the gift of grace is incredible, but it hasn't been given for us to live in sin! Grace has been given to process us into holiness and looking more like Jesus, not free us from acountability! This falling away group in verse 25 refers to believers who have turned away. We see in these verses that His voice shook the earth and will also shake the heavens. Beloved, the shaking is caused by His speaking! This is exciting and sobering at the same time.
In Hebrews 2:2 "How shall we escape if we NEGLECT so great a salvation", That word NEGLECT is the Greek word "ameleo" which means "TO BE CARELESS OF". God desires to have a people who with thankful hearts find their all in all in Him! To whom much is given, much is required! We are so blessed!
In the opening verse I shared Romans 11: 22 about the goodness and severity of God. There is a conspicuous absence of the fear of the Lord in todays church, especially in the Western church! God is speaking and as we hear and continue in His goodness we will walk in blessing. When you look at verse Romans 11:23 it appears that it is a warning against unbelief! Being cut off means to be cut off from the blessings of God! This is an hour and time in which the Lord is calling the prodigals home. It is time to heed warnings which are being issued through God's Prophetic voices. Verse 27 indicates that the Lord is bringing the shaking for the purpose of removal of temporal things (MENS MODELS) and revealing of eternal things (HIS ETERNAL KINGDOM).
This is an hour of the revealing of God's eternal plan and His eternal Kingdom. God is shaking the works of mens hands so that divine restoration can take place. God's desire is to bring order, heavenly order!
Repentance is a command!
Acts 17
30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead."
Finally, In verse 28 and 29 of Hebrews 12:
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
For our God is a consuming fire.
Be encouraged dear Christian and receive the GRACE He offers freely. Yes, God is going to get our attention in this hour in a new way, but He is revealing His unshakable Kingdom as well; the very Kingdom which is ours through Jesus our Lord! Let us hear the words of encouragement; LET US HAVE GRACE, BY WHICH WE MAY SERVE GOD ACCEPTABLY WITH REVERENCE AND GODLY FEAR. FOR OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE!
